Every item decided for you. The style, the pieces that go together, the shop with the best price I found, and the link. Forty transformations, ready to order. No searching. No comparing. No wondering whether it works.
WHAT WAS ACTUALLY MISSING
You see a room and you know straight away whether it is the one. You have references saved. You know the feeling you want in your own house, and you can point at a photograph and say exactly what you like about it. That part was never the problem.
Which item to buy. Which style works with the furniture you already own. Which colour works in your room rather than in the photograph. Which product is worth the price and which only looks it. Where to find each one. Those are not decisions you make by wanting the result badly enough. They take experience, and experience is precisely what nobody has before they have done it many times.
Which is what you hire someone for. Not to be handed more options and left to choose between them, but to be told, plainly: this is what you need. Buy these, put them together this way, and this is the result you get.
• no mood boards
Picked, and it works with the furniture you already own.
• no guessing
Chosen, and checked against each other so they go together
• no comparing
The best price I could find, named.
• no returns
chosen, and checked against each other so they go together
• no searching
chosen, and checked against each other so they go together
Every item earned its place by passing the same five checks: material, finish, colour, scale, layers. That is what someone who does this for a living runs in about four seconds without noticing, and you do not have to learn any of it, because it has already been run on everything you will see. What is left for you is the part you actually wanted: pick the room, and order it. And not one of the forty needs more than a screwdriver.
WHAT ACTUALLY CHANGES
Nobody walks into your home and says "what a lovely cabinet knob". That is not how it works.
What happens is that someone stops in the doorway for half a second before coming in. Then sits down, looks around while you pour the coffee, and at some point says: did you change something in here?
That is what the forty transformations buy. Not a different house. The same house, read differently, by whoever walks in and by you, every evening at seven when you switch the lamp on.
WHO THIS WAS MADE FOR
Your home is builder-grade
Your budget is in the hundreds
You do not want to call anyone
You have apologised to a guest
Or finished to a standard spec, and you have noticed it more times than you would like
Not the thousands. You want a visible difference without building work
No contractor, no electrician, no designer. You want to do it with your own hands
For the living room, for the kitchen, for something. And you would rather stop
WHAT YOU GET
Each one gives you what is there now, what I chose to replace it with, three real options with the shop and the price, the measurement to check, and the link. Decided, not suggested.
All forty in sequence, cheapest and most visible first. So you never have to decide what comes next either.
Material, finish, colour, scale, layers. What every item passed before it earned a place on the list. There if you want to know why. Ignorable if you do not.
WHAT YOU GET
BONUS 01
Seven transformations you can make tonight, buying nothing, using only what is already in your house. So you watch it work before you spend a penny.
BONUS 02
You walk your own home as if you were the guest, and come out with your own priority order. So it works in your house, not a photographed one.
BONUS 03
Four palettes built from what you already own: the colour of the sofa, the tone of the floor, the wood of the furniture. So you never buy the right piece in the wrong colour again.
BONUS 04
Every measurement that matters on one page: hole centres, bar heights, duvet sizes, the insert rule. So nothing goes back in the box.
BONUS 05
Saturday hour by hour: what to open first, what order to build in, where to start. So the boxes are not still against the wall on Tuesday.
Together the five are worth $110. They all come in, at no extra cost, because without them the list only half works.
FROM THE COMMENTS
51 videos. +200,000 views. Every piece on this list came out of choosing, testing and showing these things in public, week after week, to people with exactly your house.
WHO CHOSE THEM
I am not an interior designer. I never was, and that is precisely why this exists.
I have spent the last few years doing one thing: choosing pieces for ordinary homes, showing them on video, and hearing back about what worked and what did not. That is 51 videos and 193,763 views, and 3,720 women who come back every week to see the next choice.
Every piece on this list went through that filter in public. It is not my taste typed into a PDF: it is what survived after thousands of people with your house said, in the comments, what they wanted and what they did not.
That is how I can decide for you without ever having walked into your living room

The risk is mine, not yours.
A board shows you a finished room and leaves you to work out how to get there. This hands you the room already broken into decisions somebody made for you. The piece, the style, the shop, the price, the link. A board is inspiration. This is instruction.
No. That is the whole point. The design decisions arrive already made. There is a chapter explaining why each one was made, but you can ignore it entirely and just order.
No. Not one of the forty replaces a sofa, a bed, a table or a cabinet. Everything is something you unscrew, set down, layer or swap by hand. Your kitchen stays your kitchen. It just stops looking like everybody else’s.
Those are the two notes I get most, so every transformation carries a small-room version and a low-light version, usually a change in size or in bulb temperature rather than a different product.
It happens, which is why the list is reviewed every quarter: broken links come out, stale prices are corrected, discontinued pieces are replaced with an equivalent. You get the new version without paying again, for good.
